HP Launches trio Android tablets with Nvidia Tegra

Big win for Nvidia on the tablet front. The 3 models are apparently based on NVidia’s own Tegra Note Tablet. The mid-range version is the “Slate 7 Extreme” 7″ tablet with quad-core 1.8 GHz Tegra 4 and 16 GB of storage. It runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rather than the latest KitKat OS and retails for $199.99. For budget conscious consumers, HP offers the Slate 7 Plus which costs $139.99 and has similar specs to the 2012 Google Nexus with Tegra 3.
